Amongst many things that can keep you sane, working out is the most recommended one.
I will share my routine below. Right now, however, I am following routines by Anabolic Aliens, the man is a beast and a friend through the sets, love him. How good is he? I think, I am imitating his grunts, heh. Hat tip to my neighbour and Krav Maga expert Siddharth aka Siddhu for introducing me to Anabolic Aliens.
Pre-workout:
- 300 skips or for 3 minutes, whichever comes first
- Arm rotations (3 variations)
- Jumping jacks (30)
- Torso rotations
Workout:
- Squats (30)
- Lunges (30)
- Push ups (30)
- Back dips (30)
- SuryaNamaskar (10)
Cool-downs:
- BEND OVER TO THE FRONT to Touch your toes
- Neck rotation, clockwise and anti-clockwise
- Baby’s yawn/pose
- Side spine stretches
- Butterfly leg fold(regular + pulse)
- Knee — to — chest pose
- Seated forward bend
- Upper body stretch
- Side by side hand stretch
- Leg raises to relax
Cool downs are more important than the workout itself. You don’t want to skimp on that.
